Does Floqa require an AI subscription to run tests?
No. Floqa's deterministic executor runs your test routines locally with zero AI tokens. Claude is only called for one-time repository analysis, generating new routines, or repairing broken CSS selectors.
What platforms does Floqa support?
Floqa runs on macOS 10.15 (Catalina) and later — including all Apple Silicon Macs — and Windows 10 and later. Both versions are code-signed and notarized.
Do I need to bring my own Claude API key?
Yes. Floqa uses your own Anthropic API key for AI features, so there are no hidden AI costs — you pay Anthropic directly only for what you use. Floqa can auto-detect the key if you have Claude Code installed.
Is Floqa free?
Yes, Floqa is free during the open beta. Download it directly from the releases page. Paid plans with cloud sync, team workspaces and advanced monitoring are available inside the app.
How is Floqa different from Postman or Insomnia?
Floqa combines an HTTP client with a full web automation engine and an AI agent — all in one desktop app. Unlike Postman, it runs browser-level web flows (click, fill, verify) natively, and unlike cloud-based tools, it doesn't charge per API call or per team member for core features.
